The Marketing Team is responsible for enriching the student experience beyond academics. The Marketing Team will execute all promotions campus-wide and will ensure Sheridan students receive information about all things SSUI including but not limited to our events and services. Safe Walk Program Lead Coordinator

The Safe Walk Program Lead Coordinator will be responsible for the execution of the Safe Walk program at their respective campus.

Safe Walk Team Member

Safe Walkers will meet students, at campus building entrances/exits and escort them to campus destinations and wait with the individuals for buses or taxis. They will also escort to parking lots and will wait until their vehicle starts.

Deputy Returning Officer

Trafalgar

The Recruiting Officers will be the direct contact for all Sheridan Students during nomination and campaigning periods of the SSUI elections. The DROs will be responsible for the promotion of the elections. DROs will be responsible for advising the CRO of any violations. 

 Specific responsibilities:

• Market and promote SSU elections 

• Be the main contact for all candidates 

• Aid in the preparation and facilitation of the All-Candidates Meeting 

• Monitor all activities pertaining to elections and ensure candidates are following all rules and policies associated with SSUI, SU elections, and Sheridan College as a whole 

• Inform the CRO of any violations made pertaining to elections 

• Serve as information outlets for the student body as a whole 

• Manage the Election Nominations Booth 

• Manage the Polling Stations 

• Count Ballots 

• Assist the CRO when needed 

• Other duties as assigned by CRO
