Marketing Team Lead

The Marketing Team Lead is responsible for enriching the student experience beyond academics and will oversee the Marketing Team Members. The Marketing Team Lead and the Marketing Team will execute all promotions campus-wide and will ensure Sheridan students receive information about events and services for all Sheridan College students and are given opportunities to enjoy themselves socially and culturally. Students applying must have experience working as a team leader.

Editor-in-Chief – The Circuit.ca

HMC, Davis or Trafalgar Campus

The Circuit.ca is a magazine-style website, dedicated to creating bold content about students as well as the trends, events and culture in the world around them. The Circuit is powered by Sheridan Student Union Inc. but all content is developed and created by Sheridan students. 

The Editor-in-Chief will primarily assign, edit and publish stories on TheCircuit.ca. This entails deciding on which stories will be assigned to each contributor, scheduling content release dates and coaching team members through the creative process.

Content Contributor – The Circuit.ca

HMC, Davis or Trafalgar Campus

The Content Contributors are crucial to guaranteeing the success of the Student Union’s student-powered blog, The Circuit.ca. The Content Contributor will work closely with the Editor-In-Chief to develop content for The Circuit.ca. We are seeking students who want to get involved on campus, and/or fill their portfolios with writing, photography or media work.

Content Contributors are asked to contribute one article per month, with the option of taking on additional assignments each week, and to attend story meetings, which typically are held every month throughout the school year. Whether you’re a writer, blogger, journalist (both print and broadcast), filmmaker, illustrator, photographer, or just a student looking to get involved and gain valuable experience. Whatever your craft is, we want to give you the platform to hone it.

Events Coordinator

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing the campus events system and will be the main contact for all club presidents. The Events Coordinator will work with the Marketing department to ensure proper promotion of the SSUI Events.
